Biography: Originally from Newport, Rhode Island, Walter moved to the Bradenton / Sarasota area in 1995. He graduated from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree, from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York with a Masters of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance, and from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida with a Juris Doctor degree.

In addition, Walter has an LLM in Elder Law from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida.
Walter and his three daughters have lived in Manatee County now going on eighteen years. Walter is also an avid runner.
